Mersey Care NHS Trust has been using SAM Intelligence Hub and SAM Visualise to deliver its new data sharing project with the local CCG. Mersey Care uses the SAM Intelligence Hub to define indicators and map data from the hospital's SQL Server 2012 data warehouse, which is then uploaded on a nightly basis to Azure SQL Database. The CCG can log in through any browser on any device to view or create dashboards through SAM Visualise. Chris Hannah, Executive IS Manager for Mersey Care, says, "The benefits of the solution are numerous. The dashboard is fast and incredibly easy to use, and internally we have automated a number of datasets into one simple report that saves time and resources, and provides a single view of the truth. Externally the CCG now has a tool that gives them up-to-date information, better assisting them with making business decisions."
